Garden of Life Super Seed, Beyond Fiber, 600 Gram

Super Seed is a powerful whole food blend of seeds, sprouted grains and legumes that supplies your body with a nutrient-dense, vegetarian source of both soluble and insoluble fiber. Super Seed contains ingredients specifically chosen for their ability to support normal gut flora balance, regular bowel function and overall health. An excellent source of fiber, two servings of Super Seed provide over 50% of the Daily Value for fiber. Super Seed contains Garden of Life’s Poten-Zyme Whole Food Fiber Blend of living foods, which includes flax, sunflower, chia, sesame, and pumpkin seeds, as well as adzuki beans, millet, sprouted quinoa, garbanzo beans, buckwheat, sprouted amaranth, red lentils and kidney beans. What is Super Seed? Super Seed is an extraordinary whole food formula that supplies your body with a highly usable, nutrient dense, vegetarian source of dietary fiber. Super Seed is a whole food blend of certified organic and chemical free seeds, sprouted grains and legumes, abundant in mucilaginous soluble fiber, and rich in essential fatty acids and lignans. Each of the ingredients in Super Seed were specifically chosen for their exceptional ability to enhance and support bowel health. As with all Garden of Life formulations, this ingredient blend is potentiated with our exclusive Poten-Zyme process of lacto-fermentation and enzymatic activation insuring maximum bio-availability and absorption. Prosperous, more industrialized countries were predominantly the beneficiaries of these new wonder foods. Simultaneously, the populations of these countries began suffering

ABC 7 NEWS REPORT, September 28, 2006

The Dervaes family runs Path to Freedom, an urban homesteading project, in Pasadena. Since the ’80s the family has transformed their city lot into an organic permaculture garden. The yard features more than 350 varieties of plants which are either edible or used for other purposes. The garden supplies the family with their food year round. The family sells some of their greens to local restaurants. Doing this gives them money to purchase solar panels and energy efficient appliances. The solar panels provide their home with power and they use a solar oven to cook food on sunny days.
(Note: news segment mistakenly mentions the goats were producing milk. They ARE dairy goats and can produce milk, but like all mammals, they only lactate when pregnant or nursing babies. We haven’t bred our two goats yet. )
