The leaves get washed off each time and you have to reaply. Spray as offen as necessary. Put it in a squirt bottle mix well and spray plants, it won't hurt your kids or the plant. soap about 1 to 6 parts water. The only other sugestion I have is make sure, if you choose another bug spray; the bugs arn't caterpillars.
