First it was the spinach, now it’s the tomatoes. Instead of laying blame, let’s accept that we as a planet are over populated and the massive amount of food required to maintain such a population will inevitably lead to the mishandling of our food. The solution, grow your own! Tomatoes and spinach are at the start of this future crisis, so why not follow nature’s example and start your own garden with spinach and tomatoes. Tomatoes are easy to grow. These types of agricultural problems are going to continue to increase of the next few decades. Be prepared by growing your own! I’ll tell you the secret to my tomatoes… start with good quality organic potting soil. Don’t buy cheap $4 bags from building supply companies with so-called gardening centers attached, those are mostly bark filler. If they sell Miracle-Gro, and their soils, you are in the wrong place. You want an organic soil that is based in Earthworm castings and Bat Guano. Thought you never had a green thumb? Try quality organic potting soil, and you will find that it really wasn’t you.
